In retrospect, his presidency was more successful than George W Bush’s. Clinton has to compromise on the budget with Gingrich, and the deficit fell. There was welfare reform. And the economy did well during the second term. Under Bush we spent trillions - and much blood - on the distrous invasion of Iraq. There was big Medicare expansion and lots of wasteful domestic spending The deficit reached the highest level it had ever been up to that point. Illegal immigration went up. And we had the worst recession since the administration of Herbert Hoover. My family did better during Clinton’s presidency than during Bush’s, that’s all I can say

never thought I would agree with a statement like yours but after time looking back I agree with you 100% and now seeing what Bush brought about (who during that time I fully supported) I just shake my head. Clinton wanted to be loved and he would compromise if it got him that.

None of that changes that fact that he’s a rapist and his wife is a psycho.

And GWB is part of the GOP, and as such he is/ was part of the problem, and not part of the solution.

Bush was indeed a horrible President, and don’t forget that Bush is responsible for the housing crash and subsequent recession that was instrumental in obama being elected because Bush refused to veto the Dem legislation mandating hundreds of billions of dollars being lent to millions of people who had no chance of ever paying it back ...
