Thanks to AG William Barr and his new investigation, the tables are now turning and some Democrats are reportedly scared. We already know the investigation into Team Trump was based on FISA warrants obtained using a discredited Dossier containing some information now known to be fake. How far does the rabbit hole go and how much did Obama know? Clearly, Barr wants to get to the bottom of it and know the truth. CNBC reported that Barr has appointed a U.S. attorney to examine the origins of the Russia investigation and determine if intelligence collection involving the Trump campaign was “lawful and appropriate,” a person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press on Monday.

I see, it will only be low and mid level prosecutions? Are you one of those who are now raising the bar to avoid being wrong? Seems odd, it was only a few weeks ago many people were saying, nothing will happen, no one will be prosecuted etc etc.
Now I'm seeing, "Low level and mid level" prosecutions will be insignificant and won't matter..

Here is my concern:
Charges are filed, juries are convened. But where? DC? NYC, Connecticut?
I read here that one reason for Huber's selection was he was in Utah, a state more likely to have a Red pool of jurists.
How is it determined both where charges will be filed and where the trial is held? A change of venue from DC would seem to be mandatory.

I agree. Too many things don’t quite make sense. This will drag on right through the next election and then fade away. It feels like a couple of nobodies will take a fall and the rest will skate.

Actually, what really gets old is the fact that nothing ever does happen.

I want them all to feel the pain like everyone else. Never forget they were saying eff you to all the voters who put Trump in the White House. They were going to have it their way or no way.
And worth mention, in many cases those at the top who call the shots are often the last to go down as their defenses and formerly trustworthy associates fail during the investigation process.
I’m too old and I have watched this for too long to have any real expectations of legal justice

I did not say insignificant and this is not (for me) a debate. I stated my opinion. And I am not trying to change yours.
What I want to happen and what I think is likely to happen are rarely the same (welcome to real life). I will change my position when the facts warrant it. It’s not anywhere near that point yet.
BTW, my use of the term low level doesn’t imply insignificant, nor does it mean that. It means just what it says - low level. This is for all the marbles, the fate of the republic is at stake. Big players get nailed or it’s just a “moral victory”, and that will not save the republic.

BTW, they have a few issues here regarding the lower level players. The problems will arise when asking the "lower level" players the hard questions under oath, because those questions and their responses more then likely will lead directly to the big players. Those calling the shots here have lots to worry about from my perspective.
