SICKENING: Ocasio-Cortez Under Heavy Fire Over ‘Disturbing’ Tweet About Abortion

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is in hot water this week over a “disturbing” tweet that she sent about abortion. In response to Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp signing legislation known as the “heartbeat bill,” which bans abortions in the state when the unborn child’s heartbeat can be detected, Ocasio-Cortez proved she knows absolutely nothing with her response. “‘6 weeks pregnant’ = 2 weeks late on your period. Most of the men writing these bills don’t know the first thing about a woman’s body outside of the things they want from it. It’s relatively common for a woman to have a late period + not be pregnant. So this is a backdoor ban,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote.

“’So this is a backdoor ban,’ Ocasio-Cortez wrote.”

Gee, nothing gets by her, does it?

2 weeks late is 4 weeks pregnant.

It’s rare for a woman who is regular to be late except for extenuating circumstances.

To be fair, some women have irregular periods. Some women can even continue to menstruate when pregnant. One woman I knew made it to four months before the periods stopped.

Do not misunderstand—I think the Georgia bill is a good one. I absolutely think that the scientific evidence of the humanity of the baby should be considered when making laws about abortion. When the baby is developed enough to have a nervous system (and can, therefore, feel), birth control abortion *should* be banned. The heartbeat is a good approximation for this milestone, as it starts around the same time frame.

So it is ok for AOC to use generalizations and stereotypes when it suits her (eg about men and what they know about women and might want from women, even how various women’s bodies function)... But let a conservative try to make similar points via similar means and they are castigated at length for being bigoted or prejudiced etc. Hey AOC, in my business we call your kind of weak, general, unsupported assertions “hand waving” - and no one takes them seriously, nor the person making them.

He should have responded with is that similar to saying the only thing women care about men’s bodies is how much they can get from his wallet?

Does Mayor Pete realize that? He's been trying to get pregnant for years!

Gee, nothing gets by her, does it?

She's just a whizbang at details.

===========================================

BACKSTORY: "Justice Democrats" and “Brand New Congress” are a group of Bernie Sanders ex-staffers who decided 2018 midterms
should be all about Bernie's policies, finding 400 Bernie carbon copies to dump into races. AOC was hired to run in NY.

NOTE
<><> "Brand New Congress" mastermind is Saikat Chakrabarti
<><> "Justice Democrats" is Cenk Uygur, a Turkish-born Muslim.
Making a pile of money musta been a huge incentive. Read on.

==========================================

.......an FEC complaint was filed against AOC alleging her COS, Saikat Chakrabarti, created multiple
private companies--LLCs--to siphon off campaign contributions from her various PACs for personal use......

BTW, besides socialism (gag)....Bernie and AOC have a lot in common.

AOC’s COS used to be Bernie’s....wait for it....."Director of Organizing Technology."

AND THIS--Saikat Chakrabarti, is a proven tech expert.
(A) He co-founded a web design tool,
(B) He built up the product team at the payment processor "Stripe".........
(C) He then came to the Sanders campaign after (cough) growing disillusioned with the tech world.

Saikat Chakrabarti was Bernie's Director of Organizing Technology. Even old man Bernie knew enough to hire a tech expert.

So, I guess (smirk) Chakrabarti's tech skills musta come in mighty handy when donations to Bernie were
wire-transferred to the DNC and ended up in 2016 candidate Hillary's account.
Debbie W/S headed the DNC at the time and was ousted b/c of her bias for Hillary.

Course, none of us heard about any of this, but.....
<><> Chakrabarti-the-tech-whiz did find out about the DNC theft, didnt he?
<><> Chakrabarti did speak to D/W/S about it, or to Debbie's tech expert, Imran Awan, didnt he?
<><> Chakrabarti did tell Bernie he was fleeced, didnt he?
<><> Chakrabarti WAS working for Bernie, wasnt he?

Now the stunning details about that FEC complaint:

The FEC complaint asserts that AOC's COS, Saikat Chakrabarti, early on established two PACs that raised big bucks for AOC's campaign:
<><> the "Brand New Congress PAC," and,
<><> the "Justice Democrats PAC."

After mucho money was raised, Chakrabarti systematically transferred $885,000+ in PAC contributions to his private companies with similar names:
<><> the "Brand New Campaign LLC," and,
<><> the " Brand New Congress LLC."

Saikat Chakrabarti's private companies, unlike PACs, are exempt from reporting all of their significant expenditures.
NOTE WELL: it's a much-used criminal act to enrich oneself, to open bank accounts using similarly named
entities to siphon off money, to hide it from partners, associates, investors etc.

SIPHONINGS A CINCH It's easy to siphon off money for oneself by putting checks into the new accounts with similar names, depositing checks that were made out to the original entity.

Even your bank will advise you that if the check-writer "mis-spelled" your name.....to just endorse the check with the correct name.

AND PRESTO: a check made out to Brand New Congress PAC, is deposited in the Brand New Congress LLC account.

==========================================

ANALYSIS --- Chakrabarti's companies appear to have been set up for the sole purpose of obscuring how AOC's donations were used. The arrangement skirted reporting requirements and may have violated the $5,000 limit on contributions, according to the FEC complaint filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, a government watchdog group.

Campaign finance attorneys described the arrangement as “really weird” and an indication "there’s something amiss." They said there was no way of telling where the political donations went — meaning (A) the donations could have been pocketed, or, (B) used by the LLC's to pay for off-the-books campaign operations.---SNIP---SOURCED FROM FR.

===================================
JUST WONDERING .....does Chakrabarti have a reputation among Democraps for facilitating the conversion of campaign donations?

Maybe we should ask millionaire landowner Socialist Bernie (smirk)?

It’s rare for a woman who is regular to be late except for extenuating circumstances.

I asked my wife of 40 years, who I met when she was 24. Until menopause, she was as regular as clockwork.

She said, "Yeah, once I got into my 20's I was regular... but when things were starting up in my teens, I was not."

So, while I am against late term abortion (say after 4 to 5 months), I think 6 weeks is awful early.

It soesn't seem to me that "feeling pain" should be the criterion of when abortion is wrong. If that were the case, anesthesia would give every abortion the greenlight.

The criterion should be species. Is there a human genome? If so, no abortion.

That's the only way you can get "equal justice under law" for humans.

You could still abort your dog.

But mos tpeople wouldn't, because (ironically) that would be inhumane.

I'm pro-life, totally. But I wonder about these extreme bills. Are we being set up for failure, so "our" pols can campaign on supporting the bill but know it will be over-turned? That could open the door to horrific bills like the one in NY which allows the slaughter of live infants.

Because of that, I'd rather see a first trimester bill, with "rape and incest" exceptions having to be within that time. Why? I want the real cases of that prosecuted and no fake accusations or altered memories or women being talked into abortions if they lose confidence in choosing life.

With a strong first trimester bill, perhaps views could become tolerable and we as a nation could stop being deserving of condemnation by a higher power.

Your explanation is a slippery slope based on “feelings” and not science.

You really do have to realize that one needs to decide “yes” to abortion or “no”. Trying to split the baby didn’t work even in Soloman’s Time.

>>Most of the men writing these bills don’t know the first thing about a woman’s body outside of the things they want from it

Says the whiny woman who admits she doesn’t know anything about garbage disposals and confesses that they scare her.

She also exhibits no knowledge of the first thing about the U.S. Constitution, it exists to limit the powers of government.
