Durham has been investigating this since before October, 2018.

When James Baker was testifying, his lawyer mentioned there was an active investigation going on, and the man in charge was a prosecutor named John Durham.

“Rod Rosenstein unloaded on former FBI Director James Comey in remarks to the Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC) on Monday evening, slamming Comey’s turn as a “partisan pundit,” reiterating that he deserved to be fired, and faulting him for trampling “bright lines that should never be crossed.”

Rosenstein formally stepped aside as deputy attorney general two days ago. His speech specifically took aim at Comey’s comments earlier this month implying that Rosenstein and Attorney General Bill Barr lacked the “inner strength” to “resist the compromises necessary to survive Mr. Trump.”

Comey also derided Rosenstein’s “character” and suggested his “soul” had been consumed “in small bites.” The former FBI boss, who has taken to posting numerous photographs of himself in nature staring wistfully at trees and roadways since leaving public office, had been showered with media attention in recent months, and his memoir earned him over $2 million.

“Now, the former director is a partisan pundit, selling books and earning speaking fees while speculating about the strength of my character and the fate of my immortal soul,” Rosenstein said. “That is disappointing. Speculating about souls is not a job for police and prosecutors. Generally, we base our opinions on eyewitness testimony.”

We learn today that JOHN DUHRAM is the US Attorney assigned to investigate the origins of spygate et al. He is currently ALSO investigating former FBI General Counsel James Baker for leaks. Yes, we can be nearly certain he’s already gotten a long way into this investigation.

Note: in January we got a summary report from Horowitz. My thought is that as this OIG investigation comes to an end, there have been criminal referrals made along the way and Durham has been handling them.

Both! It is going to be epic! Horowitz identifies and paints the targets. Huber goes in for the kills. Durham is another killer drone. They will go where the evidence leads them. Q has been saying all along that these people are stupid, so I imagine that there are already rooms if not warehouses full of evidence.

Looks like Durham is one of the expected/foretold BOOMS for this week.

I haven't heard. At the VERY beginning, I read that he was looking into U1, but that was when the undercover agent Campbell supposedly had undercover videos & boxes & boxes of information. But since then, I haven't heard.

I mentioned this before, but the forensic investigators Doyle & Moynihan traced every penny of the Clinton Foundation around the world using only open source documents, that they themselves had to obtain. They finished a long time ago. (By the way, have we heard anything from the FBI & IRS on this case?) Huber supposedly has 450 or more people working for 2+ years & they are still working? Either it is going to be EPIC, or it will be the longest, most boring report full of nothing we have ever seen.

High lights....This US Attorney has been assigned previous cases involving government misconduct by FBI & CIA personnel. This investigation is not likely initiated by Barr but by a referral from Inspector General Horowitz.

Most OIG misconduct reports end with the OIG referring the individuals involved to the agency for disciplinary & criminal prosecution decisions. So it is likely that Horowitz referred misconduct to DOJ, DOJ determined that crimes were probably committed & assigned a prosecutor.

No need for a Special Prosecutor if the DOJ & FBI have been cleaned out of people who had a conflict of interest. All the people that Sessions & Rosenstein fired! With RR departing on Friday, he can now be a witness against the coup plotters with a new DAG who need not recuse.

Incorrect assertion by NYT's & their leakes. Mueller did not reaffirm that the investigation was legitimate. The Mueller report did not test the validity of the evidence & determined that even if the evidence was all true, there still was no collusion.

Mueller did not attempt to verify if the investigation was legitimate, because that would intrude into the Inspector General's investigation into the misconduct by FBI & DOJ personnel. We have already learned the FBI dropped the Pdop angle due to exculpatory evidence.

Where this gets interesting will be the Woods Procedures to verify the information in the FISA app. We already saw a previous leak whining the OIG didn't understand that FISA's were allowed to have unverified information in them. Which isn't true, but it sets up their alibi.

The Woods Procedures were established by Mueller after the Clinton Admin FBI was caught submitting FISA's without informing the court that the subjects had cooperated with the FBI in the past & that a subject had met voluntarily with US Attorneys. @carterwpage did both in 2016!

Another factual 'error' by the NY Times. The FBI informant, Stephan Halper, met with Page BEFORE he left the campaign & before the investigation was opened! Steele was also reporting to the FBI BEFORE the investigation was opened on 7/31/16. That's called a huge lie!

Correct but irrelevant, Rod Rosenstein was not the affiant nor was he the person that conducted the Woods Procedures. He only signed off that everyone in FBI & DOJ signed their life away claiming it was all true. Their lies will convict them!

Again, missing that Steele & Halper were both working as informants on the case, before there was a case. That is a gigantic no-no!

USA Durham is already investigating misconduct by other Spygate figures including a criminal investigation of former FBI Chief Legal Counsel James Baker. That investigation is related to leaks & follows a previous leak case against Baker that the NSA pushed but DOJ dropped.

Nothing earth shattering in this article, other than identifying the US Attorney who has been handed the case. Routine spin, but it means nothing to anyone not gullible enough to believe the NY Times' spin. It is a clear sign that the OIG report included criminal referrals!
