These are old tax returns but DJT needs to find out who released them and prosecute them! For a private citizen to have their tax returns made public without their consent is a travesty.
How did they get them?
So the NYT aided and abetted a felony in the theft of these returns?
All I know is that he worked his butt off, took good care of his family and is very wealthy.
The NY Slimes says they were mailed to them anonymously. No excuse for publishing them, though.
Yes, and in my opinion, the NYT should also be prosecuted for knowingly receiving stolen property.
They were part of some estate deal that went to court. Something to do with his sister(?).
Can’t remember the details but it’s old news.
SUMMARY: “Orange man bad.”
the SCOTUS has ruled on this and the NYSlimes won’t lose- if someone gives a writer confidential info, even if its stolen, and the writer goes with it, they are not in violation of any law..
If said writer steals the information themselves, or has a hand in stealing it, they are in violation of the law...
I’m not exactly sure what the rule of law is on making personal financial information public...
Julian Assange did the same thing, but he gored the wrong ox. Theirs.
aw, isn’t that cute.
The New York Slimes and their CNN and FakeNews friends are publishing info on the tax returns of Donald Trump.
They lost on the primary campaign.
They lost on the general election.
They lost on collusion.
They lost on obstruction.
They lost on public opinion.
They lost on impeachment.
They will lose on this too.
Americans don’t care, you hacks calling yourselves journalists.
You lose.
The NYT says it’s “newly acquired information” from his tax returns from 1985-1994. It’s breaking on their site.
Because their candidate was truly indeed the world’s smartest person, let alone woman.
Imagine what a country we’d be if the GOP was as forceful and combative over the last 30 years as the Democrats.
How many buildings does Russ Buettner own?
What a crock of bovine excrement. Granular analysis of 30 year old data that is reputed to be representative of the actual returns that were mailed to the paper. So how was this data corroborated? Confirmed by second source? Isnt journalism supposed to.....oops.....forgot. This the the Times. Never mind.
“...with the figures from his federal tax form, the 1040, for the years 1985 to 1994 ....”
How did they unlawfully gain access to his 1040’s?
Why wouldn’t he use the 1120 forms?
While everyone here was ventilating and asking themselves why nobody was prosecuted for breaking the law and leaking those tax returns to her, some of us figured out that they were probably mailed to MSNBC by someone who had permission to send the information.
Ten bucks says this is exactly what happened here.
Wonder if Cohen had them!!!!
