Interesting choice of video that Q linked. The “No Mercy” guy becomes a joke by the end of the movie. The hero is the Kid who wins in the end. But Q often sounds like the Sensei—no deals, pain, etc.
In this clip, Daniel goes to the dojo to continue his training, but sees that the kid who bullies him is leading the class. He slinks out. Later he meets Mr. Miyagi and continues his training with him, with less toxic masculinity involved and more peaceful notions of oneness with humanity, while defending oneself. < barf >
I’ll have to ponder the message there. Are we Daniel or the Sensei or the bully?
I know. I'm a little confused as well...but that's not unusual.
Rather than fighting them on their own ground, with corrupt judges and prosecutors that will give away the farm, "Daniel" (from the Lion's Den, realizing his dependence on God for deliverance) needs a new move or two.
The deciding vote, Kavanaugh, via L Graham's questioning showed his approval for tribunals for government employees. You've seen the tremendous upgrades at Guantánamo, yes?
Maybe we are Miyagi. We know what others don’t know.
