No need to support, no need to condemn or assume sin is happening either.
Cohabitation without sex isnt a sin. Same sex and opposite sex people do that all the time. So, if gays are living together, its not right to assume they are sinning.
************************************************************Will stipulate living together without sex isn’t a sin...you’ve been very narrow in your example and you would probably agree the majority of gays in a relationship are sexually active and therefore sinning, from a Christian perspective. As a Christian, I must condemn this as the Bible does. Not doing so will further the aims of the DS to tear apart the fabric of family, to condemn the Christian faith, to ignore the Christian murders that are occurring in the world today.
I agree with you. This “progressive” acceptance of homosexuality is upsetting. The Bible is very clear on this matter. Of course we are told to love one another. But, the excuse making for an abomination is not acceptable. Cherry picking scripture to suit the excuses is also not acceptable.
Thanks for your reasoned response. I try to never assume another is guilty of sinning, as that might just be an infraction itself, whether the soul in question is sinning or not. Someone else has that job anyway, my input is irrelevant.
As a matter of looking at a sinful act in a vacuum, we’ve got no disagreement, it is what it is. Best wishes in your progression to betterment, and please excuse my stumbling along the path.
