Probably apropos of nothing, but on closer examination, the Epstein Island pic makes me think that building is a rather plain strucure with a bunch of detail painted on. The "stonework" looks oddly two-dimensional, and the whole thing looks like a cheesy, cheap attempt at opulence. One might expect a bit more from a wealthy hedonist."The banality of evil," and all that...

(Given the proclivities of that bunch, I probably don't want to see close-ups of the smaller statuary at ground level.)

The owl on the TBS building may have some sort of sinister meaning, but it also pegs my "tacky-meter." It looks like something from the 1980's that you'd have found standing outside a midwestern antique mall next to the highway.
