It’s easy to incorrectly give Herr Hitler the sole blame for World War Two, but Italian, Russian, and Japanese imperialism are also in the pot.
I just do not think that any type of global war would have broken out with no Hitler.
For example - the Russians and Japanese had it out in 1905, but no global war followed.

And France. Without the Draconian terms, enforced to the death, of the Treaty of Versailles, Germany would not have suffered a strangled economy that gave rise to Hitler.
