Where are the Federal government’s charges for mail fraud? Did Smollett pay them off too?

I wonder if any Federal government's case will be hindered because the evidence at the state level has been sealed.

Those are a separate matter from the state charges. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get watered down or dismissed too.
