I recently read they can pretty much shine a laser beam at a window these days and hear everything going on in the house.
That laser microphone tech is a decade old at least.
What they can do know is use radio waves and radio telescopes similar to those that SETI That searches for life in distant galaxies.
They discovered that those radio mics are so sensitive it can pick up the vibrations of the fabric of your clothes when you speak.
It started in the 40’s with project tempest van eck phreaking ect.
