Corporations do pay taxes. They now pay at a 21% rate instead of 35%. This semantic gamed that they don’t pay taxes is ridiculous. Moreover, if the rate went back to 35% they would scream bloody murder. Capitol Hill was wall-to-wall corporate lobbyists when the tax bill language was being written. You and I should agree to disagree and move on.

Corporations pay taxies and turn around and recover those taxes from the people that buy their products. So ultimately, the individual pays them.

It’s ridiculously simple, but somehow you want to buy into the illusion that raising corporate taxes somehow has no impact on the individual.
