The Senate was the target. POTUS poured a ton of energy into the Senate, there wasn’t enough time for the House, too many to campaign for.
The House was not needed. Oversight, investigations shifted to the Senate. Confirmations through the Senate.
Recapture the House in 2020.
The Senate Intel committee shut down. To my knowledge, there are now NO investigations going on in the Senate related to “oversight,” while there are something like FOUR going on (all against Trump) in the House.
This is not sound in any way, shape or form if it was deliberate.
