Do your work well, Texican. Real America can't afford to let Texas go blue.

Amen. We can use yall's prayers along with those you send up for the nation and our blessed President. The current statistics are frightening on the likelihood that Texas may go blue in 2020. I am personally counting on God and The Plan to prevent this from happening. But, I can attest that without The Donald, Q and The Plan it does not look good.

Nuther side-slide. Today is Texas Independence Day. On this day in 1836 we became a nation. I personally had some ancestors who were here then. (good family tales) We are aware that many think we come across arrogant and prideful, but it's always been a rough country in which to live. We see what our ancestors had to work with when they came here with nothing bit a wagon load of seed, hope and dreams. Just managing to exist let alone flourish in this place is enough to breed the sin of pride. That saying about everything here either sticks, bites or has thorns is pretty much true. It varies across the different terrain here from the pine forests to the desert mountains as to what those sticky, bitey things are, but lots of it managed to kill early settlers so they learned to be wary.

enough rant. I'm just really worried about the politics of my state as I've never been before. And a lot is on our shoulders given the make-up of the electoral college. So, we got a lot of work to do to defeat the Texican damn derps. It's a full time job for me with the legislature in session. And I am NOT a lobbyist.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY Y'ALL!
