I understand that is the underlying spirit of the people of 8chan. And yet they have come together in one place.
They do not "ride alone", right? They have a board owner [BO], right? They have people that set up the channels and have higher level authorizations in order to maintain the board, right?
They do things to protect their board from assault, right? Does the [BO] ever attempt to prevent trolls from posting swastikas and anti-semetic content that is intended to discredit 8chan and keep eyes off it? I bet he does.
All of those things, you may think Ransomnote does. She does only in minor ways when things are out of control and the thread's very survival is in jeopardy. And that is usually handled in a group effort style.
As much as you want to say it, there are no BOSSES here. Some people may talk that language, but its just talk. Some people may be listened to more than others, but they have earned that by the totality of their words. Its the human way.
I understand what it means to be proudly independent, the rebel, the lone rider, the wild man. I have those tendencies, so I get it. But sometimes you have to subordinate those behaviors JUST A BIT in order to work productively within a system.
