As I recall, the opening of "Have Gun Will Travel" was a soundbite to the villain of that day's piece re "I'm here and this is how you've just screwed up..."
And the Knight was printed on Palidan's business card.
(Chess game? I think there might have been an ornate chess board set up for display in one or two scenes of Palidan's plush digs in SanFran....)
