Only a day or two before this problem happened- Gab posted a notice that it was open registration once again. Neon posted it.

GAB finally got back to me.

"Thanks for reaching out. Yes we are currently experiencing an issue where users who are not signed in are having trouble viewing content on Gab. It's on our to-fix list but at this time I cannot offer a time frame as to when it will be done."
