Naahh. One of my grandfathers put (popped) popcorn in a bowl and poured milk over it like breakfast cereal. Seems a little odd these days but, it's essentially what you get from the grocery.
Watched Alton Brown of Good Eats, who did the same thing.
Popcorn was used as a quick cold breakfast cereal by the pioneers in the wagon trains.
