I avoid these problems by running everything I can on ethernet. I have lots of ethernet. All over the place. Built the house pre-wired for it.

Same here. The living room has four outlets, each bedroom two, the dining area one. Wi-Fi on top of that for Surfaces. It’s faster and more secure.

This is the smartest comment I've seen on the internet in 2019. WiFi is a fools choice. Nothing beats the speed and reliability of a hard-line connection, where possible.

Wait until all the smart devices (IOT) really take off and then everyone complains that their download speeds and reliability are in the crapper. LOL.
