My first thought was that this will now highlight how the left is using the homosexual community for their own ends and about their real feelings about these groups. It will show that they have no interest in preventing them from being thrown off rooftops etc.

I don’t mind this as publicity to stop leftists criticizing him (of course it won’t though) but many countries such as, for example, Poland and India, have not normalized homosexual acts, and they have a perfect right not to.
