a slide that has no bearing on anything, ‘cept seeing PTFE gives me the heebie jeebies...
I blew up an engine on a mid 80’s Fleetwood Brouham d’elegance, that I had prepped with Slick 50, which at the time, had major PTFE (Teflon) in it. Back then, I had to drain the oil, put in Slick 50, run it awhile ,then drain that and put regular oil back in the car.
I can’t say Slick 50 was the cause, because this was Caddy’s infamous HT4100 engine.
HT stood for High Technology and became to be known as Hook & Tow 4100 times.
Okay. My three days in a row of nasssty doctor appointments has come to a close. I can now get back on my regular schedule and will get to pumpin' out those back-logged Oracles. I'm about five or maybe even six behind. Garrrrr.
Apologies to our faithful readers. I'll start out slow, as it will take me some doing to catch up with all ya'll.
