good question - it’s appeared several times of late; I’ve assumed something akin to h/t = hat tip?
/pb= past bread
/lb= last bread
On 8Chan, what we call ‘threads’ here on FreeRepublic, they call ‘breads’. That’s why you’ll see references to bakers and such.
If you’re on a bread and a poster puts up a link to a past bread, and you click on it, you’ll be taken to another page which will have to load up before you realize you’ve gone to another place.
This is very frustrating to the clicking person, especially if they’re on a phone or on slow or limited data or WiFi.
The way to avoid this is for a poster to identify the link to another bread as a /pb (past bread) or /lb (last bread). This gives the reader the choice to click or not click.
Q recently used a /pb for the anon that lost their dog. So if anon saw the link with /pb, anon could choose whether to click on it or not. I think most of us did to see what was in past bread that Q wanted to talk about.
Anon loves dogs, kittens, patriotism, and bewbs. Not always in that order.
That’s as much as I’ll explain without giving out secrets from the Forbidden City or Chan-Town.
