I do not think that either side would be able to eliminate the other. There is also a low key Border war going on between India and China and China would probably try to take advantage of any war with Pakistan by advancing their claims in the disputed area.
I think India has more nukes (others here will likely know). And since India is an ally of the US hopefully the US will help them if this happens. I’ve long thought that a Paki/India war might bring on a world war type of think.
