BMI is hogwash. According to it, a man standing 6’ tall should only weigh 165lbs and a woman standing 6’ tall should only weight 160lbs. It does not take into account, bone density, muscle mass and body type. Most government guidelines on health are pure BS!

Maybe when a kid is the tall one in high school and is playing basketball. But that is skinny.

I’m 6’4” and had a doctor tell me that I should be around 195-200lbs. I told him that I hadn’t weighed that since I was a sophomore in high school. It ain’t happening. 230 lbs is my best weight. If I get below 220, I look awful and worse, I start to feel awful.

BMI is a joke.
