I thought the explanation for the Polar Vortex caused by global warming was the best ever by a Phd who has the IQ of a moron: “Global warming caused a break in the Jet Stream and the cold leaked out”. I’m not kidding.

Driving home from work from the Mass North Shore up to NH and going west on Rt. 101 it hit me. Traffic dropped from 65/70 to 20/25 in seconds.
It was pretty bad for a couple of exits, but blew past in about 10 to 15 minutes.
Yeah it was bad for a bit, but not something that an Emergency Alert would be needed for.
Remember to break out the MAGA Hats, Bleach and Rope. You never know when you want a Sammich at 2 AM.
I was driving towards the ocean on 286 going to visit friends at Seabrook Beach during that stupid squall. Visibility of about 100 ft with the ocean on both sides of me. White-knuckle driving for a couple minutes.
Weather Channel calling this “Snow Squall Sally” ??
Seems they’re attempting to minimize or make humor out of the extreme cold. I’m told global warming is the biggest threat to humanity and will kill us all, but extreme killer frigged temperatures are simply snow squall Sally, kicking up her heals!
Makes you wonder if Big Al has been vacationing in northern Minnesota or in Chicago. Anyone seen his private plane landing there? /s
