A cocky female Soldier who thought she could “whoop any Marine” at her Forward Operating Base in Iraq was given a lesson in what a real boxing match looks like- and was a sore loser afterward.
A video shows the female Soldier -who allegedly said she could beat any Marine at the Iraq-based FOB- square up against a male US Marine, who seemed more than comfortable taking her on.
The Soldier learned a valuable lesson that day, though it isn’t known how much of that lesson was retained after the Marine knocked her around like a ragdoll.

One of my best friends was a college wrestler. He told me that he hated to wrestle a lighter wrestler. He said they were so quick. Still the odds favor the heavier one.
When I was in high school we played another high school in football. We won fairly easily. After the game we stopped at a burger joint.
They had a little halfback who weighed maybe 135 lbs. He was already at the joint. For some reason he chose to pick a fight with Duffie. Probably the biggest meanest player on our team. He tried to hit Duffie and maybe did, I can’t remember. Duffie hit him once and knocked him cold.
What in the world was that guy thinking.
I wasn’t being sarcastic. Studies have shown women are closer to men in lower body strength 66% than upper body strength 52%. It may have to do with giving birth.
She was not a small woman either, but even a smaller guy, a scrawny guy without much training could take her down. Women don’t understand a man’s strength or even his gentleness when he doesn’t bring his full strength to bear. All this feminist rot poisoning women’s minds and perceptions of reality. If men unleashed their power, their brute strength, women would have to cower in respect.
The funny thing is the male looked like he had no boxing experience. He threw wide round house punches and left himself wide open most of the “fight”.

I saw some figures from the Air Force many years ago.
In their tests, women had 50% of the upper body strength, 70% of the middle body and 90% of the leg strength.
Those sound about right to me.
Its hauling the fun bags around 24/7. Quite a lower body workout.

A average man can kill even an athletic woman with his bare hands, if he doesn’t hold himself back, which makes many movie scenes (involving female action heroines) totally absurd.
Fighting skill has very little to do with strength.
A man will have MUCH more upper-body strength than a woman of the same weight.
I regret that the Marine ( Male) got into the ring. He lost no matter how good/bad/indifferent he may be.
The show was a proof that females will always get the upper hand in chivalrous combat- the guy loses because he fought her, he loses because he beat her, he loses because he didn’t do right and lose to her, as a gentleman would.
This is all void of the rather obvious women in combat tripe.
In reality where metal meets flesh and violence is the required art, females can employ the tools rather well, but the whole equation does not hinge on whether or not a woman can operate an M4 or M27 or M40B etc. It matters can that person carry it all the way, then fight all day and night as part of a team with all that entails ( the biggest part in my experience as both a Cbt Infantryman and a Sapper), and when the chips fall, can she tear the enemy and new axxhole with her bare hands? And get up the next minute and do it again.
The Male Marine ought to be careful- he will likely be targeted for all sorts of hate now. It does the USMC no honor to have held such a silly contest. Who’s in charge of the misguided children these days?
