“””Adams Burch was a company that provides various restaurant or janitorial supplies. They were purchased by a firm called Trimark. Here is Adams-Burch’s current catalogue open to the page showing waste containers.

https://www.adams-burch.com/adams/mobile/index.html#p=151

It does not currently show anything similar to the waste barrel in the WH window. Who knows how old that waste bin is, 5 or 10 years old? It could also have been a special order product for Fed government use only.

(I am spending my day tracking down janitorial products. Sigh. Well...its a Cold january day and would not be doing much else. (Except taxes...))

...which is a slightly higher resolution image than the one that was posted earlier up thread.

I was not able to read the name on the trash can by blowing up the earlier image, but on CJ’s image, I was able to blow it up enough to make out “ADAMS BURCH” in block letters.

Still couldn’t read the second line beneath “ADAMS BURCH”.

Unless some major development comes up, this can has been beat enough and my name’s Bennet and I’m not in it!! :)

Stellar digging you did on the company. Thanks

Odd corners of the internet filled with the everyday mundane and obvious seem to be a comfortable places for my research! The starting point was the name Adams Burch! Your research I think—thank you!

Sometimes a trash can is just a trash can. Sometimes the unseen contents are the important thing. In this case its a symbol and a message.
