I was calling this out a week ago, and some of my fellow freepers said I didn’t know what I was talking about - storms in California don’t go east .. or so they said
I’m sitting at home watching the global warming fall. Three inches of new stuff with another five to come. Heads up, folks, this one’s on the way.
Why does the weather channel name snowstorms? And how do they make sure to have diversity among ethnicity, gender, etc . so they won’t be called bigoted????
BTW - The Jew Hating Women’s march is Saturday in DC

Unfortunately I don’t ski in sub-zero weather. I’ll have to blow off work Tuesday instead of Monday.
The media has become so lazy and devoid of any original reporting or thought reporting on their own polls and weather is now their bread and butter, 2nd only to their 24/7 attacks on Trump.
Unfortunately DC is not forecast to get much.

It was quite a storm here in NorCal yesterday. Winds to 90 mph were reported up buetaluma. I took our pup for a walk duei g a break and the wind was roaring in the trees. Later in the evening, it was an incredible gale shaking the house.
The brutal cold and snow storms of 1977 was considered proof we were entering a new ICE AGE!
What? Its winter again? That explains why I spent 4 days without power and heat! (11 Inches total wet snow.)
This storm is predicted to bring 4 to 6 inches to Kansas and Missouri. That is not the problem, which is the winds that will gust to 30 to 40 MPH and bring down weak branches that have not already fallen.
I guess stock up on propane for my Mr Heater Buddy & check make certain all my batteries are charged!
