The new contractor can make job offers to all the laid off TSA folks - leave on Friday, and come back Monday with a new uniform.
In addition to RIFs, perhaps there could be wholesale structural dissolution or downsizing of some organizations.
Or perhaps some widespread cancellations of pass through funding in the form of grants, to defund the Left.
Even more encouraging is a 2013 Slate article (hyperlinked in today's American Thinker) which outlines which government departments and agencies have the most "RIF-able" employees. It is a picture of the Swamp. No wonder President Trump wanted a shutdown - and a long one.

So many places to hit back at the Democrats. I don’t know the latest numbers, but I have read that a HUGE number of people being given Section 8 housing are illegal aliens. Stop the payments and evict them all!

I know. I noticed it during the campaign. He was touching on very nuanced matters hardly anyone out there touches on, other than a FReeper or an in-tune Conservative. That’s how I knew he was the real deal. Look, you can fake some things, but you have to at least be aware of this stuff to fake it, and I haven’t seen a Leftist yet that grasps the issues important to us. Trump did, and it wasn’t just the superficial stuff either. He was touching on stuff Leftist don’t even know are an issue.

The federal gub mint is Waaay to big.
RIF about 60 percent of those employed within said gub mint and not too many would notice.
The President cannot veto existing laws.
Nor can he ignore them altogether.

That may be so, but if that happens they won’t have all the union protections our government so “wisely” bestowed on them. They probably won’t need nearly as many as the TSA hires either.

Here you go! Today’s statement from OMB saying why Lifson doesn’t know what he’s talking about, as I articulated yesterday.
During the primaries, he just sounded too good to be true. I confess I didn’t trust him but he is the real deal. He is completely dedicated to America and although he doesn’t appear as loveable or inspiring as Reagan, he’s even tougher and more strategic and has the same heart.
