Trying - at ANY POINT to frame this as though this had been or could have been an altercation between this man and an individual. People who have even the tiniest fraction of their integrity left someplace inside themselves (however deep down they have pushed it) don't EVER do that.

This was a guy against a mob that had not dispersed even after they no longer faced just the young girl and her mother.There was never a fight against a single other person in this incident.
