I don’t believe Muslims really respect ANY country. They only respect belonging to their Caliphate whether it exists truly, or not. Any other organization, structure, political entity etc. is automatically dirt beneath their feet.
During the Israel / Hezbollah dustup a while back many Muslim families were forced to flee North towards Beirut and seek shelter with Christian families. Their attitude, rather than gratitude, seemed to be that such was expected.
