There are literally NO consequences for being a convicted felon! Some sob sisters will decide that Johnny didn't mean to shoot Jimmy dead-center in between the eyes and then rape Jimmy's wife and steal all their money.
A bunch of SJWs will go all social media on the case, and before you know it, Johnny is out of prison with all his rights restored. Johnny wins, as he now runs a gun shop (he got ALL his rights restored, remember?) And the Dems are beyond thrilled...they've got another poor schlub who will vote Dem for the rest of his life.
Dems, don't worry about Johnny dying and not being able to vote. I'm sure by the time his death rolls around, the (*Y*YOIFJLD D mother (&(*^(*&* will have passed a law allowing people to vote after their death, through their estates!!
