My inference + tying these things together is that there is a set of data that is/was used in submitting to FISC, etc. That’s a false narrative. Then there are the records that they actually have - they being the OLD GUARD at F-I/D-J.
But there may be another set of books in play, too - being the books that are now being maintained by the white hats.
Consider - if MILINT is running ops in this realm, there is/are other records too. This was alluded to in weekend “Q” drop ala how do you conduct intel ops when people like Adam Schitt have access to the intel.
Thus I’ve wondered, what is this 4th FISA - and what is the FISA that is on record with the Court - and are there others. RR could have signed one that was totally bogus knowing it was or “not” knowing, as the case may be - and RR was adamant about this as well, that he only signed off on it based on the testimony of responsible career officials of the F-I. He then said something like how could he or anybody challenge such authoritative assurance!
But then there would be the ops that are looking at these ops. And I’ve always wondered, are RR + the Mule leading the sting or are they the first targets of it. Everything that we learn leaves this murky and could be either way. Some days I lean one way, then another. It’s the best aspect of this movie and will provide the big reveal. What I think is the trend among watchers is to think that, regardless, whether RR & the Mule are black hats, is that they are at least leveraged or, now, contained i.e. the insurance policy has expired.
