Part of being in the cult is swearing to the bad things in your past. Got nothing? Well you are either perfect or lying and you couldn't get in. The 'collateral' of which they speak is the deep dark secrets they swore to IOW blackmail quality stiff.
Yes Reps can vote for anyone.
Can anyone serve as Speaker, meaning a non House Member or John Doe Citizen
Yes, but all have been members. Constitution doesn't require it.
How so? Absent the bias of the reporter, seems pretty fair.
although the article is from Politico, it spells out pretty well what we know and don’t know...
The briefs are to be submitted by tomorrow night 5:00 pm.
Hey! Give me about five more minutes, Im out here pulling these quills out of this dawgs pet snake with my teeth. Spit.
You got any dental floss? Might need it when Im done. Spit.
Did you see that comment on the Maple Leaf Rag?:
Maple leaft Rag, recorded on Pianola Roll actually played by Scott Joplin, this piano roll was found in the wrong box on Ebay apparently and turned out to be a long lost Joplin recording
Im pretty sure I ate a Pianola Roll just the other day. Two of em. A leetle chewy, but I was hongry.

*texokie hands a pile of bandages and scissors and dental floss and three pairs of tweezers with different configurations to haffast as he works on the snake*
Poor snakey thing....Yes! I did see that it was REALLY a piano roll cut by none other than Scott Joplin! LOL! You MUST have been terribly hungry! Do you realize you have Qanteen refrigerator privileges!? Hmmmmmm..... You know there is a medical term for eating stuff that isn’t nutritive. It’s called “Pica.” You might want to look into that!
I sure hope Cletus doesn’t get wind of you eating the piano rolls. I hope they weren’t from among his faves. Even if they might not have been Scott Joplin, he uses them on the Qarage rinky tink!
*haffast finishes with pulling out the quills, and for a wonder, it appears that the snake’s vital organs were missed. He’s bandaged up and haffast has put him in a hospital box to minimize his movement. He then gets to work with the dental floss and the tweezers on himself. After removing only the few quills affecting him, he grins real big and hands the instruments back to texokie*
Refrigerator privileges?? Really? Let’s go!
*haffast can be seen dragging texokie to the Qanteen Qitchen door with target clearly being the refrigerator*
"Interesting notable from the boards. Foreshadowing?"

The Rosneft Commission: What We Should Be Looking For
MOST AMERICANS have never heard of it, but Rosneft is one of the worlds largest publicly traded oil companies, with revenues of $91 billion in 2015 ranking 23rd overall among oil and gas concerns. Its majority owner is the Government of Russiain other words, Vladimir Putin and his circle of oligarchs, including Rosneft CEO/Putin BFF Igor Sechin.
In 2012, Rosneft entered into a $500 billion joint venture with ExxonMobil, which at the time was run by current Secretary of State Rex Tillerson; it was this mammoth joint venture, apparently, that inspired Putin to award Tillerson the Medal of Friendship in 2013. The oil reserves in the Arctic, the reason for the venture, are estimated to contain 85 billion barrels. At a conservative price of $50 a barrel, that amounts to a staggering $4.25 trillion in potential gross revenue.
And this article: CEO of Russia's state oil company offered Trump adviser, allies a cut of huge deal if sanctions were lifted
Thanks for sharing that. Explains some of what was going on leading up to President Trump firing Tillerson. Was he trying to set up some Russian collusion? Hmmm.?

Thanks, Greeneyes.
This article is an important contribution relating to our great President Trump’s makeover of America’s grand strategy.
You live in a beautiful part of the country.
I don’t mean to butt into your conversation, all I know is my dad always said that whiskey is for drinking, and water is for fighting over.

Temasek Holdings owns 10% of CenturyLink and 1% of Alibaba.
That hardly makes them affiliates.
I am not sold on this theory that CTLs 911 outage has anything to do with DS or Q; although, it could result from a hack.
911 telecom systems are an incredibly complex hodge-podge of old and new technologies. Evidently CTL did not have 100% redundancy, which would be extremely expensive. I do not see a boogeyman.

To this comment I would add: CenturyLink has built their company picking up pieces of the traditional telephone network more-or-less discarded (or ignored) by the AT&Ts and Verizons of the world, in particular eschewing the rush to wireless everything. It has been a highly successful plan so far, at least as seen from the outside.
Gonna go away for a while. Thread is getting a bit squirrely without a drop.
RE: Vaxx.
I understand that vaccines work but, they are a penetration procedure and should be decided by the individual or parent.
My biggest problem is that their is no accountability if problems arise. Doctors point to government requirements and the government says sorry and washes their hands of the whole thing. If you sue, you WILL lose.
So, here’s an arbitration panel that was set-up to make you happy. It is staffed by government chosen persons who may or may not agree with your version. A human life has as much value as they say it does.
Their decision is final.

I’d love to see the day. All Trump would have to do is just toss that idea out there nonchalantly and that would keep everyone busy for weeks! Or he could be considered for OMB. :-)
Water rights are indeed a big deal here. People stealing water are soundly hated. The mj growers here have been big on water theft. Long story.... thankfully the bottom dropped out of the mj market and a lot of given up or left.
I live in a valley surrounded by millions of acres of national forest/BLM land, mountains all around. I’d go crazy in a city.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
I thought about moving to or around the southern Oregon coast for awhile, but things changed. My daughter used to live in Corvallis and we’d go all over taking in the scenery.
