CORRECTION!!!

I REPORTED EARLIER THAT MY DARLIN’ HAD HEARD THAT LYNCH HAD STATED THAT OBAMA HAD TOLD THE FBI TO BACK OFF ON INVESTIGATING HILLARY.

WHAT DARLIN’ HAD HEARD, WAS AN ANALYSIS OF THE COMEY TRANSCRIPTS. THE WORDING COMES CLOSE TO WHAT WAS REPORTED, AND I SEE HOW HE COULD HAVE CONFLATED IT, ESPECIALLY IN THE YOO INTERVIEW BELOW, BUT:

MY REPORTING IS IN ERROR.

I APOLOGIZE.

FOLLOWING IS A TRANSCRIPT I SOUGHT TO MAKE OF THE RELEVANT PARTS OF THE PROGRAM MY DARLIN’ WAS WATCHING, SO YOU MAY DECIDE FOR YOURSELF WHAT MIGHT ACTUALLY BE AT PLAY HERE:

[It’s actually very interesting in its own right! - imho]

From the America’s Newsroom Dec 19, 2018 - Around 11:00 AM ET

Early into the show, Bill Hemmer plays a clip of Andy Biggs for Ken Starr. Biggs had been talking about Comey earlier in the day. Biggs characterized how Comey handled the Clinton matter:

Andy’s quote played:
“He (Comey) basically threw Loretta Lynch out of the decision making process. He called them the morning of the news conference. That’s when he let them know he was going to go forward with the news conference announcing the exoneration of Hillary Clinton. So that’s not a coincidence.”

Bill Hammer:
“So that’s not a coincidence. Put this together for us.

Ken Starr:
It is not a coincidence that he decided in light of all that had happened with Loretta Lynch conduct and so forth that he had to take charge. It was an Alexander Haig moment for him, that “I’m in charge here” and so now I’m going to announce the ultimate disposition of a very important matter of importance really to the American People and the Rule of Law. So again, it was an arrogation of power on his part.

Bill:
What do you think they learned from Loretta Lynch then?

Ken:
I think she will probably stay with the story we have heard thus far, which is this was really - talk about taking advantage - this was Bill Clinton taking advantage of Loretta Lynch. It was almost in a figurative sense, an ambush.

Bill: By boarding the plane in Arizona and talking to her?

Ken: Exactly. The former President should never should have done that. I was very pleased when these reports came out to see that one of the senior staffers for the Attorney General tried to break it up, because that person knew this is utterly inappropriate.

Now, they say they “oh we’re talking about grandchildren and everything under the sun.” But the appearance of that, especially since it was an unplanned, unscheduled meeting, and for the President, for Bill Clinton, to thrust himself on the Attorney General, put the Attorney General in a very awkward position.

So I’m very…. I was chief of staff to the Attorney General under Reagan Administration… I’m very sympathetic though to the Attorney General’s position. And so if she stays with her story, then it will prove to be essentially an inconsequential. But the appearance is absolutely horrible.

Bill: We’ll see what comes of that….
SNIP

The headline text at the bottom of the picture during this Starr interview says, “FMR AG Loretta Lynch facing Questions About Clinton Email and Trump/Russia Investigations.”… “Comey says Lynch Sought to Influence FBI Probe into Clinton’s Emails.”

Midway through the show, Bret Baier was on, and Bill was asking him what he thought of the Ken Starr interview. He said that basically according to that interview the blame should be on Bill Clinton, not Lynch. Bill also points out to Brett that Comey has come out and is casting blame in a number of different directions - anyone but the FBI.

Brett acknowledge that Comey has been quite vocal. Bill played the Biggs quote.

Brett’s comment has to do with the denial of Lynch’s conversation encompassing anything outside of grandchildren and innocent things. But he pointed out that there are timing questions which could be asked of her.

Bill asked Brett about Starr’s use of the word “Ambush,” and do you think that after the close of business today the House investigators will get some answers? A report? Bill guesses, “no.”

Brett said that it had been a “not fulfilling” process, probably will be a report. However there are questions about how much coverage the report and findings might get. “I don’t think they are getting a Smoking Gun.”

At about 15 minutes from the end of the show, there was a segment set up with referring to the transcripts of Comey’s closed door interview.

The guest is John Yoo, the former Deputy Assistant to US Attorney General.

Fox gal (don’t know her name)
“A good portion of Monday’s 5 hour grilling included Congressman Trey Gowdy of South Carolina. He tried to connect the dots between the former President Obama, his knowledge of any possible national security breach by Hillary Clinton as then Secretary of State. And here’s the key: whether or not the FBI actually kept the former President abreast of any investigations they had going on at the time. What is your take on that and the President’s knowledge?

Yoo:
It’s a good question and it’s a really interesting part of the Comey transcript, which hasn’t been covered that much by the media.

Congressman Gowdy really I think, got into the nitty gritty of why did President Obama go on national tv and declare that Hillary Clinton had not violated national security laws by keeping classified information easily hacked server, before any briefings by the FBI.

Why did Comey authorize the interview of Michael Flynn and try to encourage there to be no lawyers and try to make it sound as though it wasn’t even an interview, and at the same time, knowing that when the FBI interviewed Hillary Clinton about her emails and [inaudible] they allowed even actual potential witnesses to that possible breaking of the law to serve as her lawyers, to set up a heavily lawyered up setting, and as you said, very favorable treatment compared to Michael Flynn.

Fox Gal:
I want to talk more about that 16 minute interview - that was in 2015, and with regard to the former President’s knowledge of the investigation, Gowdy asked Comey about that interview, in which Obama said that former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, merely and this is a quote “made a mistake and didn’t mean any harm in the leak of her emails.”

Gowdy then asked, “did you address that then with him personally?” Comey said he did not. Your take.

Yoo:
Well, first one of the interesting things is yes, President Obama went on the air, he is the President, he is the chief law enforcement officer for the nation, and declared Hillary Clinton essentially innocent before investigations had been concluded.

Second, where did President Obama get that information from? So Congressman Gowdy and some of his other colleagues were pressing on Loretta Lynch or other Justice Dept officials involved in somehow getting word to the President about it

Third, Congressman Gowdy reminded anyone who is reading the transcript that President Obama had actually been sending emails back and forth with Hillary Clinton on their private email accounts, which would suggest that he knew already that there had been some kind of open and unclassified server available to Hillary Clinton that might have had classified information on it.

Fox Gal:

She played a clip from Andy Biggs about the breaches of protocol Comey made wrt the interview of Flynn. JC admits FISA warrants are being issued. Biggs states they are trying too follow the rule of law and Comey is pushing back.

Fox Gal says,
“Pushing back. “ Why is Comey pushing back on not following protocol when he admits he broke protocol by not clearing the Flynn interview with the White House before sending agents in personally?

Yoo:

The interesting thing about the transcripts is that they show that the Flynn interview and the way the FBI went about it, making him think it wasn’t a criminal investigation, and encouraging him not to have any lawyers present, and as Mr. Comey said, getting away with evading the normal protocols for the FBI sending people to interview at the White House. That was actually the end of a train of a long series of decisions, and what Congressman Gowdy was trying to get at was “when did you decide to conduct an investigation of an ongoing Presidential campaign? That used to be off limits for the FBI. That is a lesson you should have learned during the Nixon and Water Gate controversy.

The headline text at the bottom of the screen during much of Yoo’s interview stated:

“GOP Lawmakers Question Comey about FBI Protocol and Hillary Clinton Email Investigation”

This is yuuuuge:

“...Third, Congressman Gowdy reminded anyone who is reading the transcript that President Obama had actually been sending emails back and forth with Hillary Clinton on their private email accounts, which would suggest that he knew already that there had been some kind of open and unclassified server available to Hillary Clinton that might have had classified information on it....”
