back in the day, we used mIRC to raid MSNBC chat. Had as many mIRC chats open as the PC could stand.

a bunch of us rough riders were raiding and if enough people got into a chat room, MSNBC would open another.
There weren’t many of us conservatives but our hit & run tactics basically were a game of leap frog. This was in the days of Soledad O’Brien\John Gibson.
They would interact with the chat room live and sometimes take our questions. It was a badge of honor for a conservative to get picked.
mIRC was trialware...nobody paid for it and there were millions of downloads.
One lady purchased mIRC and that purchase became a legend on the WWW.

The John Gibson show on MSNBC back then with chat room moderated by “MK Flynn” (I believe was her name) was great. I used to go by moniker “Sire” so then she’d respond, “yes, Sire” LOL. That was when MSNBC had started and had sanity in their midst. The debates with liberals then, during Clinton impeachment, were much like the Muh-Russia stuff of today - largely logic + fact free ;)
