Exactly. Name any science which has multiple, frequently COMPETING, models — all of which have been proven to be 100% wrong as predictors.

Even TToE which is argued against here by some, has one model.

Climate “science” is by no means a “settled” science, if there is such a thing as a settled science.

One other note: If someone argues that a "consensus" of scientists agree on AGW, they already have lost the argument.

Science does not operate by "consensus." It operates by a rigorous methodology that does not depend on opinions. If a "consensus" of scientists insisted that pi was 3.15 that would not make pi 3.15.

That was my first thought too. If its causing the Earth to die we just drain it but as you noted that could be difficult.

I propose that we just dump hundreds of billions white or black floating doodads that clump together to cover the entire ocean according to whatever climate model is selected.

For good media coverage I think we'd need a cute young gal in a bikini throwing a single dart at a wall after being spun around a few times (with slow motion replays of course - this is important science dammit) covered with all the competing models of new ice age/global warming/climate change/climate disruption or whatever looks best for government grants.

For those skeptics I should mention (patent pending) that these black/white doodads would be solar powered with WiFi receivers so we can just flip them over as needed to save the world. I'm thinking the doodads should be shaped like the bees use in their honeycombs but I'm open to suggestions.

Then we just pray that God guided her dart. Simple. ;-)

PS: FYI - I'm a lapsed Catholic but I understand that our Jewish friends prefer not to use the name "God" and go with "G-d" in their posts. I've done that in my past posts once I understood it as a courtesy.

Now though I've decided to go with "God", our creator and figure no Jew is going to behead me for such an affront.

For the record, I do believe God created our universe (prove me wrong ;-) and wants us to live good lives according to damn near any religion except the one that calls for complete submission to a cult offering heaven to those killing and dying for their beliefs while trying to make their cult the one and only religion in our world. Sick.

Also for the record please note, I have now placed my life in jeopardy of an early violent conclusion and perhaps those of anyone near me including my loved ones for perhaps questioning the validity or practices of a "religion".

Simply stated, Islam is incompatible with our 1st Amendment Freedom of Religion and across the world any other religion or lack thereof is to be destroyed by "believers".
