It’s an ‘elf’ but not a nice one.
I used to read some fantasy novels, like with wizards, dragons, ELVES, dwarfs, etc.
Not all ‘elves’ are cute, good little creatures. Some are really mean and nasty evil beings.................
Do a search for “elf on the shelf”. It’s a little toy that parents of younger kids put up around Christmas in hiding places to ‘watch’ the kids to make sure they’re nice.
Not exactly Drow, but one never knows....
