"There has been some vigorous grandstanding to mollify the sentiments that elected Trump-but the rest of his tenure in DC will be about rendering an American businessman into a Swamp Critter-precisely what William Barr’s nomination signifies" Barr's short tenure under Bush suggests to me that Barr didn't care for the Swamp. I think this may be a case of Trump leveraging Barr's Bush bonafides to bring a patriot on board. After the big Bush funeral bash, what Senator could say no to one of Bush's "best buddies"?
