At the time we took early retirement, we lived in MA and worked in Westchester Co NY. 2 1/2 hr each way, once per week. 10 years for me; 25 for husband. Nightmare memories of CT driving. Except for stopping at Rein’s Deli in Vernon CT. That was pure heaven.
I still drop in there...
OMG. Now all my commuting seems inferior.
