I tell myself I’m saving the Boss bandwidth, lol. I work at a university and am amazed at how ill-educated some of these kids are.

thanks for the explanation.

I had a ruptured C-5 so I know firsthand that it is crippling and devastating

Bob and son Pete both commie fascists.

I don't know his politics to that extent, but I saw a long article about him and his car collection, also him and his delusions about global warming and his idea of mandatory remedies for same.

So tedious.

Here's a quote from an interview at Loudersound.com

It probably goes without saying that you are not a Trump supporter?

Oh my God… Let’s put it this way; When I went and sang for the Eagles at the Kennedy Center Honors I met Barack Obama.

Now, Barack Obama is my favorite president in my lifetime. So we’re in the Blue Room, all the cast that’s going to be on stage doing all the songs, and I’m sitting next to Steven Colbert. After Obama got done talking and introducing the honorees, he went into another room and we all started filing out and we all got to meet him and Michelle and shake hands.

I only had a second to talk to him so I said: “I gotta tell ya, Mister President, thank you for your wise and dignified service,” and that was it. That was a much time as I had. And look what we’ve got now. So there you go [laughs].

,

(I would hazard the guess that the great working class hero Bob Seger isn't a Freeper.)

Pete Seeger is Bob Seger's son? Hmmm.

No relation at all.Pete is a member of The Communist Party (no lie, look it up if you wish)..Bob is a great American song writer and artist. And like “private” said it’s 2 different names.

Please never put the 2 of them in the same sentence again.Thank you.

OK not related by blood, but same in spirit.

No problem. You should go see him in February if you can. I’m reading good reviews so far. I saw him in Boston in September of 2017 a few weeks before he blew out his disc.

Had tickets to see him in Portland, Oregon in 1983. He came down with laryngitis and canceled that show late in the day. Of course I had already dove 190 miles and rented my hotel room... Totally sucked. Still regret never seeing him.

thanks. Iggy Pop.. a musician I know nothing about other than his name. Glenn Frey might be the only Detroit rocker whose music I do know.

That’s enough for me. Since the last Presidential election the entire entertainment industry has become a no go zone for me. The last concert I went to was in Oct 2017. The last in theatre movie was sadly the Last Jedi and apart from the odd clips on you tube and some short moments via public tv screens I no longer watch any broadcast tv. I may in the future become a consumer again but at the moment it seems unlikely. Spectator sports are in a similar bucket for me as well.

Back when Iggy was a nice young lad. lol

I saw Seger in the early ‘80s at the LA Forum. Put on a helluva show.

That was one of the first albums I ever bought and a 1977 Seger show was the first concert I ever saw. $5 at the door.

I saw him twice at the Fabulous Forum! 2nd row and 10th row. Still love his music but wish he wasn’t a communist liberal.
PS. I just hope it’s for show so he can keep working.

I saw him sing “Long Twin Silver Line” live several years back.

It was done surprisingly well considering he can’t hit those high notes any longer.
