It reminds me of the toddler calling Daddy into the room. Daddy gets mad because he was involved in something else and everybody loses.

Greatly agree. I don't recall PM'ing them about that or anything else recently. If I did, it was to be friendly and encourage caution.
My long post to her was what I thought was a friendly caution about some possible other considerations & perspectives. It appears brittleness has set in. Sigh. Hate having conflicts with long-standing friends.
