I’m celebrating too. I signed up November 1, 1998 - 20 years ago today - after lurking for a while.

It looks like a lot of us signed up then and probably found our way here because of Drudge.

Found FR through DRUDGE too and lurked for almost a year, before I signed up. Lots of us did that, back then, and that way we got to know the slang, who was who, and what was WHAT before we took a stab at posting ourselves.
