This past Saturday at 3:15pm I lost my soul mate, the love of my life, my husband Sam. Sam was a man with a huge heart. Everyone who knew him loved him. He left a legacy in the form of his two exceptional children, Heather and Billy, their spouses, Luke and Randell and two wonderful grandchildren, Ethan and Sammy. When I married Sam I became part of his big, beautiful Serbian family and the gifts that brought are too numerous to mention. Our life was a never ending adventure. He was a man’s man and a true and gentle soul. Together 23 years and married 21, He will be forever in my heart and I will miss him every day.
Your eloquence here has touched Freepers. Including me, I am still married after 57 years. I do sincerely say a prayer for you. I hope to have your courage, if I am in the same position.
