This past Saturday at 3:15pm I lost my soul mate, the love of my life, my husband Sam. Sam was a man with a huge heart. Everyone who knew him loved him. He left a legacy in the form of his two exceptional children, Heather and Billy, their spouses, Luke and Randell and two wonderful grandchildren, Ethan and Sammy. When I married Sam I became part of his big, beautiful Serbian family and the gifts that brought are too numerous to mention. Our life was a never ending adventure. He was a man’s man and a true and gentle soul. Together 23 years and married 21, He will be forever in my heart and I will miss him every day.
Oh Hildy, I’m so sorry. I lost the love of my life, my dear wife Christine, in February. We would have been married 38 years in June.
I know how you feel.

I’m so sorry for Your loss. Prayers done for You and the Family. I know what it’s like to lose a Spouse and all I can tell You is that They are in a better place than We are and if there was pain involved that They no longer are hurting. Remember the good times and things when sadness comes upon You. It’s not a cure all but does help some.
And remember You have a large FReeper Family to lean on here.
