Only if they aren't getting paid. None of this would be happening except for payments to cartels and corrupt officials for passage through their areas of influence. If the cartels don't get money, then they don't want to be seen as participating when the US Gov't does a state of emergency situation. Too much risk of the Hellfire night visits.
Of course there is a winning situation here for the good guys, way too pessimistic. This group ain't making it to the border.

What does international law saw about stopping a foreign invading force in a neighboring country? What relevant treaties do we have with Mexico?
Can we drop troops in Mexico? Can we blow up roads in Mexico?

I did some calculations on how long it would take to walk from Tapachula Mexico (where the caravan is reported to be) to the Texas border. There is NO way this group will arrive in time for the midterm elections in good weather. The storms will put them further behind.
I’m not concerned about stopping the migrants as much as bad optics should the group arrive pre Nov. 6.
I’d say this 36 million dollar effort by Soros and his community groups to overwhelm our border is way over a day late and regardless of the dollar’s short.

At one point, I recall discussions about a megabucks soccer field being built. The only soccer field I see in the detention area is nearly a decade old, seldom used for soccer play -- and has, by now, basically been converted into an oval exercise track.

At the time the Gitmo $$$$$$$$$ were news, I was yards deep into LSJI. Almost wish I'd taken one night's peek at Gitmo, then...
