Children today have a lot more “stuff” than children in the 1970s had. Some of that “stuff” was (in the 1970s) the stuff of science fiction.

But I feel sorry for children today. They have more “stuff” but they have a lot less freedom. That loss of childhood freedom is as good a measure as any of how dreadfully we have allowed leftists to ruin America.

I was never that good at making friends, but I did learn how to do it. I had to take a chance, every so often, develop a thicker skin and a better sense of humor. It’s hard to learn that online, I would imagine. It probably takes a lot longer, because you can just ‘disappear’ from an uncomfortable situation with literally, the press of a button.
Skype On...Skype OFF, so easy!

Most striking to me is how little unsupervised/organized outdoors time they have today. Go through the suburbs after schools and on weekends and it is a veritable ghost town except for some adults popping in and out.
