Sometimes, older women have to get IV’S in their hands, and it causes bruising. It could be that she’s covering this up, COULD BE but may not be. what was the temperature tonight in DC? small older women get cold easy so I am told.
If she is in chemotherapy there are drugs that make your hands highly sensitive to anything cold. Your mouth as well. It feels like an electric shock. On those particular drugs gloves are essential for the first few days after infusion.
My veins learned to hide for chemo treatment. The veins in my hand are easy to find but they dont like doing that because it hurts the patient more than in the arm. I found it didnt hurt as much as being stuck 5 times trying to find the vein in the arm.
Hell...I think is colder than Hell....
