If you are accurate as Joe Bastardi then by all means blow your horn and let everybody know. What’s wrong with that? He has a business to run, I had a business to run back in the day. Fortunately, the science has advanced tremendously since I was stepping-out on the balcony of the studio to stick my finger in the air.
His company issued a pretty reliable forecast before the season started outlining where the most activity would occur. Looks to me like they did a fine job. If you are looking for the exact landfall on the exact date of any tropical system months in advance I suggest you keep looking. We’re not there yet.
Yup. Months before hurricane season really kicked he issued a forecast saying that Atlantic hurricanes could strike the US between Brownsville and Portland.
Brilliant. Blow money on a subscription so he can tell you what is happening on models that your local weather forecast and the Weather Channel use too.
Trump needs to learn how to control the weather so he can send these storms where needed the most to flush things out.
My two labs have gone-to-ground since this afternoon. They did the same during hurricane Irma. Basically, real low energy and muted, want to stay inside and close by. IMO instinctual ‘den-ing’ behavior sensing the approach of a storm. We’re in Tampa btw.

his season prediction was as scientific and about as accurate as my horoscope. he’s a TV personality, not a scientist.
he’s selling ratings, and his company’s profit margin relies on how many stupid people he can terrify into letting him continue to terrify them. fortunately for him, there is a sucker born every minute.
