In my marriage, I am funny and my husband has zero sense of humor. The bastard coated bastard quote from Scrubs wouldn’t garner any response from him.
I make others LOL but he’s like talking to a stone. It’s quite boring.
Drives me nuts. I’m like, “that was really funny” and expecting a laugh, and I get nothing. If only life was an ongoing sitcom. Maybe I should have a recording of a laugh track, and when I come up with a good one that gets no response, I press a button and play my own laughs. Then, I could hire a drummer to do the ba-dump-bump for zingers.
